Classical Beginnings PreK provides an inspiring introduction to Classical Education for little minds.  Classic works of art and music, famous composers and masters from the past, as well as scientific concepts will be introduced as the children experience creative movement, play games, listen to stories, learn poetry, sing songs, and make crafts.  We gently introduce phonics and math as we prepare children for Kindergarten.  Classical Beginnings will provide a strong foundation for your child’s future education.
Students will learn the basics of classroom expectations and behavior through play and fun.  Biblical values of prayer, service, and compassion will be taught through interactive stories and questions.  Students are encouraged to build habits of giving attention and respect, listening, following instructions, and cleaning up after themselves through methods that respect a child’s innate wonder and desire for self-discovery.
What makes Classical Beginnings Pre-Kindergarten different?
  • Math and Phonics are introduced with gentle, age-appropriate methods and curriculum.
  • Fine art, famous composers, beautiful music, and inspiring scientific discoveries are shared with the children.
  • Students enjoy wonderful works of classic children’s literature such as The Little Red Hen, Curious George, Corduroy, The Runaway Bunny, and more!
  • Bible stories and character training along with scripture and catechism memory work provide a basic foundation of Bible knowledge.
  • Creative movement, multi-sensory learning, and whole-brain integration  learning techniques are woven into each lesson.
  • Learning is a delight at Classical Beginnings Pre-Kindergarten!
  • Pre-Kindergarten runs half day, 8am - 1pm.
Enroll early! A waiting list will be put into place as soon as our class is full.

Books & Uniforms
1. Families purchase their own consumable books and uniforms. Uniforms are purchased at Lands End.
Refund Policy
The Classical Academy & Classical Beginnings Pre-Kindergarten, like other schools, contracts for its facilities, faculty, and staff on an annualized basis. Tuition collection begins before the school year begins so we can be good stewards and plan accordingly. All enrolled families must sign a financial agreement upon enrollment detailing the following.
  • If parents need to withdraw their child before the first day of school, please contact the Head of School. Tuition that was pre-paid before the school year begins will be refunded, but fees are not refundable.
  • Families who withdraw at any point after the first day of school, are legally and financially responsible for the full school year tuition. Because we contract for our facilities, faculty, and staff each year based on actual enrollment, this policy protects our school, staff, and other Academy families from experiencing the strain of imbalanced funding or debt.
  • Application Fees are refundable if a family does not receive an offer of admission. Application fees are not put towards tuition.
Application & Enrollment Process
1. Submit online application and application fee of $150 per family. (If you have students in The Classical Academy Grammar school, your Pre-K student is included in your Grammar school family application fee of $150). Payment is made via Skookii, our online school payment system. A link will be sent in the application received email, or you can pay through our website.
2. Upon receipt of application and application fee, admission decision will be conveyed via email. Included in the acceptance email will be a link to our financial agreement contract in our online school management system. This is due within 10 business days of acceptance email to secure your child's spot.
3. Prepare for school! You will receive a welcome packet upon admission and a Preparing for Pre-Kindergarten packet in mid Spring. This will contain book information and uniform specifics.
